13. NFB — Voice of Action — 17 min

From its earliest days, Canadian radio has played an active part in drawing together a widely scattered population. Farm and labor forums are included in its extensive educational program, while among its unique activities are medical advice and personal news broadcasts to remote northern outposts. Most outstanding of its services today, however, are the CBC newscasts, including coverage of the activities of Canada's fighting men abroad.
